Ultimate Book Challenge

Ultimate Book Challenge is a district-wide reading incentive program for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students.  It is designed to improve reading comprehension and enthusiasm for reading using a fun and unique competition format with other NISD elementary schools.  Participants are given a reading list of ten books and challenged to read as many books on the list as possible. Permission slips to participate in the program will come home in  September 2023 after the program has been reviewed with the students.  If you are a 3rd, 4th or 5th grade student and think you might be interested in participating for the 2023-2024 school year, feel free to start reading the books as soon as possible.  That will help you be prepared for the district competition to come!
